eFoil Riders experience with the Fliteboard Ultra:
We have tested the Ultra on the Main (Würzburg, Germany). It was a unique experience that I would like to share with you. The Ultra is a new level of efoiling and a real challenge, even if you already have a lot of experience with the Fliteboard Pro.
The biggest challenge with the Ultra is getting out of the water. I weigh about 90 kg and when I lay down on the board it is under the water. When I start, I lean back slightly, go into gear 3 and then hold onto the tip of the board with all my might. Now I pull myself slightly forward and accelerate to gear 4-5. The challenge is to find the right position on the board. If you are too far back, the board will not accelerate. If you lie too far forward the board goes under water. After I found a stable position in gear 5 I accelerated to gear 6-7 and got up quickly from the lying position. Now the adventure begins!
Indescribable! Standing up, I have my old routine and stability back. It is the most indescribable feeling! You have so little weight under your feet, you are so agile and fast and flexible. A unique driving experience. It responds to the slightest movement of your body and is so much fun and it's a new experience.
Fliteboard Pro or Fliteboard Ultra? Challenging question! The Fliteboard Pro also gives you an indescribable driving experience due to its small size, maneuverability and agility. However, it has the advantage that you can also have a more relaxed ride while lying down and it is much easier to stand up.
If you want to get the most out of your board and yourself every time you ride and push yourself to your limits then get the Fliteboard Ultra. There is no comparable eFoil and the ride is indescribable. You'll notice the lighter weight and volume to the Fliteboard Pro and for waves, jumps, racing and carving hard the Fliteboard Ultra is definitely ultimate eFoil.
